Lisbeth Jimenez is an NCIDQ certified built environment specialist who produces exceptional, transformational design concepts -- creating beneficial spaces that positively impact her clients and their environments. Her current role is Creative Director at MKDA. Lisbeth participated in interior design pro-bono projects, and has designed spaces for a number of non-profit organizations while also being an education advocate and teacher.

Collect

I start by collecting images within my own library of projects and then move to Office Snapshots if I cannot find what I am looking for in my own library.

I like things to happen as efficiently as I think of them so I use platforms like Canoa to allow me to do that. Canoa allows me to easily paste images and link products without the hassle of having to save it in a folder and then placing them in a presentation sheet. Canoa allows me to collaborate while I am collecting + I can have my teammates' progress and can efficiently divide and conquer tasks without having to duplicate files. - Jimenez

Design

‍

I do a lot of sketching and modeling. I sketch with my Samsung Note all day long. I also play around with Midjourney to develop concept. - Jimenez

I create presentation decks to express ideas to my clients but internally when collaborating with my teams, I like to use platforms such as Onenote, Bluebeam, and Canoa depending on the stage of the design process. ‍When I discovered Canoa, I said to myself, "finally!" Finally a platform I can use to create presentations, mood boards, and specs. This is all without having to bring out images to edit in Photoshop. Having a one stop shop design platform has been refreshing and I am hooked. Canoa is a game changer, and I am always excited to see and try the new tools they develop. - Jimenez
