Founded in 2015, Coolican & Company produces a broad range of furniture that is suitable for both residential and contract environments. We also offer design consulting, and custom design and fabrication for hospitality, retail and other luxury interiors.We believe in producing furniture that is sustainable.
What does this look like in practice? We manufacture everything in our collection a mere 21 km from downtown Toronto. We use locally-sourced, FSC-certified hardwoods that are native to our corner of the world, and we finish our work with V.O.C.-free hardwax oils.We also design objects with longevity in mind, with the intention that they be used well into the next century. Because of this, we stand by the quality of our product, encouraging people to participate in sustainable design by purchasing the right thing once, knowing they’ll never need to replace it.
